Do I need a referral? No referral is needed to see our hand & upper limb therapists.
What shall I bring to my first appointment? If you have copies of any scans. For Workcover claims, TCP or other third party claims please bring claim number DVA please bring gold card.
How long will my appointment be? Usually we allow up to 45mins for an initial and 30mins for subsequent appointments. NDIS initial appointments are 60mins long. Those requiring complex care, where complex splinting is required or multiple conditions are being treated may require longer appointments which may incur increased fees. Do you take "private health"? Yes. If you have private health cover that covers you for Occupational Therapy (if you are seeing one of our OT's) or Physiotherapy (if you see our Physio), then you will pay a gap. You can check with your health fund prior to your appointment to see what extra cover you have.
My doctor said I may need a splint, how much will this cost? We pride ourselves on keeping the costs of our splints inexpensive compared to others! The price of our custom made splints depends upon the materials that we use, ranging from $3 to $110 in most cases. All of our clinics also stock an extensive array of off the shelf splints, exercise products and small aides and equipment,
Do you see NIDS participants? Yes. We see plan and self-managed participants. Our initial appointment is an hour long. Is there disability access? Yes, all of our clinic have disability access. Do you offer teleheath appointments? Yes we do! We are happy to arrange this for our rural- base clients and if you are unwell and unable to attend your review.
