Handwriting is an important skill for children to master. The art of hand writing is not taught in schools as in previous years. Our kids spend more and more time tapping and swiping on devices, rather than developing penmanship skills. Hand writing difficulty can be due to a number of factors, such as fine or gross motor skills, pencil grip, sensory processing and body awareness. We assist children to improve their handwriting by assessing a child’s handwriting skills across a range of domains, identifying areas for attention, and implementing targeted strategies to address these issues.
We like to work in with other therapists including; paediatric Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists and other providers to create a holistic approach to skill development.
