Do I have Carpal Tunnel Syndrome?

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome is the most common nerve compression that we see in the hand therapy clinic.

Symptoms of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome include;

• pins and needles in the tips of your thumb, index, middle and possibly ring fingers
• dropping items and difficulty carrying out fine motor tasks like pinching
• pain in the muscles at the base of the thumb or pain radiating up the thumb side of your forearm
  
• symptoms can wake you up in the middle of the night, or can result from things you do or the way your hand is positioned during activities.
